Launch your career at Continental

As a global player, Continental operates tire plants all over the world. No matter where you start, one thing is for sure: in a maximum time frame of 24 months, you will be working hands-on in real-life manufacturing and engineering projects.

Home plant stay

Quality comes from experience. To gain broad knowledge of tire production, you will start the program with hands-on experience right there in a real life production scenario. After that, you should be ready for the next big challenge: your very first project in the plant.

Trainee pool

After this initial experience, you will join other Manufacturing & Engineering trainees for a 6-month stay at our central Tires location in Hanover. Participating in a series of stimulating projects, you will get up to speed with the tire development process and our global Continental business model. Discover which technical training suits you best and develop your soft skills and build your network with visits to major Continental tire plants, customers, and suppliers. Besides working on projects in the fields of manufacturing and engineering, you will have the unique opportunity to gain an insight into the research and development processes for tires. In addition, you will cooperate with other Explore Tires trainees while working on a global business assignment. Throughout this period, you will present the project results to our top management.

Marketing & sales

Get to know your customers’ individual needs by spending half a month in the field with one of our marketing & sales organizations in your home country.
