Mukoviszidose - also known as cystic fibrosis - is a congenital, yet incurable metabolic disease. The most frequent symptoms are chronic coughing, serious bouts of pneumonia, digestive problems and underweight. The association supports research projects for 50 years, advises affected patients, pays for climate treatments and much more.

Dr. Ralf Schnupp, head of the Occupant Safety & Inertial Sensors Segment, was pleased to receive the “guardian angel company” award, which was handed over by Susanne Auffenberg, a member of the Mukoviszidose e.V. association: “Every year I am very excited about the high empathy on how all our employees campaign for an incurable disease with a personal donation. This underlines our commitment to social responsibility - an important component of our Continental basics values."
