ConNext

The introduction of our internal social network ConNext was a key cornerstone paving the way to quicker, more direct communication all around the world.

ConNext offers a number of possibilities for transparent transfer of knowledge. The publication of wikis, sharing in forums and global networking of employees mean that knowledge and experience is available in a sustainable format.

Each week, some 40,000 employees are actively engaged in dynamic sharing of knowledge and information as well as creating and maintaining knowledge databases. Social networking is also eagerly being taken up in conventional project management. There are more than 16,000 communities (some of which have several thousand members) that are living examples of this culture of working together (sharing knowledge and information). The content of the various wikis has already had around 16 million views. The members of the Executive Board are also active users of ConNext with their own blogs and status updates, and even direct dialog with employees.
