We want to enable our employees to develop their abilities in the best possible way and to make optimal use of their skills.
In our HR development programs, we take into account the different development levels of the individual employees. Around 2,000 young people at Continental are currently taking part in a dual bachelor program or undergoing training. Throughout Germany, we offer 18 dual degree programs and 20 traineeships.
University graduates are welcomed at the Corporate Entry Conference, where they are given information about the strategy, processes, and structures at Continental. The Corporate Entry Program also not only provides them with an opportunity to get to know the company at a national or local level and form networks, but also empowers them to self-direct.
At national or regional level, junior managers undertake successful measures as part of the Leadership Entry Program and the International Management Program that prepare them to solve complex problems and strengthen their management skills. Managers at a global level are equipped with additional leadership skills in the Corporate Executive Development Program. New senior executives are offered a customized development program in the form of the New Senior Executive Workshops.
For our production employees, we offer specific and local training and further education programs worldwide that are designed to not only strengthen their own qualifications but also improve product quality and occupational safety. The program is supplemented by technical training, qualification, and development programs at our different locations.
To promote intercultural exchange and to enable a supraregional perspective on our international business, we offer our employees an assignment program, among other measures. Asia is leading the field regionally, with just under 40% of participants working there.
